The dashboard shows the revenue PersonalizerAI earns for your store, and how each model performs. This page explains every number on it.
The screen is Dashboard in the PersonalizerAI dashboard. It has four parts, from top to bottom: a setup checklist (until you complete or dismiss it), three revenue cards, a model table, and quick-action cards.
When the numbers update
The numbers refresh once per night, at 02:00 UTC. Today's activity appears tomorrow. This is normal — the dashboard is not a live feed.
The period selector
The Last selector at the top offers 7d, 30d, and 90d. Every number on the screen follows it. Each card compares the selected period with the period of the same length before it.
The three revenue cards
Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
Revenue Attributed | All revenue from orders that PersonalizerAI helped cause. An order counts only after a shopper clicks a widget, a search result or a PersonalizerAI collection-page result, then buys. The number comes from your store's own order data. |
Search Revenue | The part of attributed revenue that came from clicks on search results. |
Rec Revenue | The part of attributed revenue that came from clicks in recommendation widgets. |
Each card shows the change against the prior period, and a small trend line. Green means up, red means down.
Until your storefront first reports shopper activity, the cards show a dash and Waiting for data, and a note titled Data coming soon appears. Numbers appear the day after that first activity. After that, a quiet period shows a real $0, compared with the period before.

The model table
The card titled Revenue by recommendation model lists the models that were shown, had a product added to cart or earned an order in the selected period, sorted by revenue. Click a model's name to open it on the Recommendations screen. The View all models link goes there too. Below the table, a collapsed line such as 12 models not used in this period lists the other models your plan includes and you have not switched off.
Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
Model | The model's name, for example Trending Now or Smart Mix. |
Type | How the model builds its results:
|
Impressions | How many times shoppers saw this model's products. |
CTR | Clicks divided by impressions, as a percentage. A dash when the model had no impressions. |
Add to cart | Products shoppers added to cart from this model's recommendations. |
Revenue | Attributed revenue credited to this model. |
Revenue per 1,000 impressions | Revenue earned for every thousand times the model was shown. A dash when the model earned only through emails or after-purchase offers, which have no impressions. |
What good looks like
There is no universal benchmark — stores differ too much. Compare your models against each other:
- High Revenue — the model earns well at its current placements.
- High Revenue per 1,000 impressions — each impression works hard. This is the fairest way to compare models with different traffic. Consider more placements for it — or let Auto-pick decide.
- High CTR, low Revenue — shoppers click, but do not buy. Check the prices and stock of the products it shows.
- A model under not used in this period — no widget showed it and it earned nothing. It may not be placed anywhere, or it may lack the data it needs. See Model settings that matter.

Quick actions
Below the table, up to three cards suggest a next step. Examples: revenue up on the previous period, a warning about zero-result searches, or search not set up for your store's language. Enable checkout upsells and Run your first A/B test (on plans with A/B testing, until you start one) appear here only after you dismiss the setup checklist, which lists them already. Click a card to open the related screen. Click its × to remove it for good.
