Five models read store-wide signals or your catalog alone. They show the same products to every shopper, need little or no history, and work fully without tracking consent. Every store starts here.
The four model families
PersonalizerAI has 16 models. The model guides group them into four families:
Trending Now
Shows the products that gain attention fastest right now. A product that suddenly collects views and add-to-carts climbs the list. Older activity fades out hour by hour, so the list follows your traffic, not your history.
The signal behind it | Recent views and add-to-carts, weighted toward the newest activity. Updates continuously. |
|---|---|
When to use it | A safe, lively default for any store with steady traffic. Strong during promotions and product drops. |
Good placements |
|
Settings | None. On/off only. |
Data it needs | 10 products and about 50 daily visitors. |
Best Sellers
Shows your top products by order volume over the last 30 days. The window rolls forward every day, so seasonal winners rotate in and out on their own.
The signal behind it | Order counts per product over a rolling 30-day window. Updates as orders come in. |
|---|---|
When to use it | Social proof. Best for shoppers who do not know your catalog yet, and for gift buyers. |
Good placements |
|
Settings | None. On/off only. |
Data it needs | 10 products and 20 orders in the last 30 days. |
New Arrivals
Shows your store's newest published products, newest first. There is no cut-off date, so the widget never goes blank between drops. If you stop adding products for a while, it keeps showing your newest ones, however old they are.
The signal behind it | The publish date of each product in your catalog. Live from the catalog — no training. |
|---|---|
When to use it | Stores that add products often. Brings repeat visitors straight to what is new. |
Good placements |
|
Settings | None. Turn it on or off on the Models tab. |
Data it needs | 1 product. Works from day one. |
On Sale
Shows products with an active discount — products whose "compare at" price in Shopify is higher than the current price. Products without a compare-at price never appear here.
The signal behind it | The compare-at price on each product. Live from the catalog — no training. |
|---|---|
When to use it | Sales periods and clearance. Also a strong nudge in the cart drawer. |
Good placements |
|
Settings | Sort by — Popularity (default) or Recency. See Model settings that matter. |
Data it needs | 1 product. Shows only your discounted products. |
Back in Stock
Shows products restocked in the last 30 days, ranked by how often shoppers viewed them, added them to cart or saved them to a wishlist in the last 30 days. That activity counts whenever it happened in those 30 days, in stock or sold out, so the list favours popular products that just came back, not only the ones shoppers looked at while they were gone. A restocked product with almost no shopper activity is left off.
The signal behind it | Restocks from your inventory updates, plus shopper views, add-to-carts and wishlist saves over the last 30 days. |
|---|---|
When to use it | Stores where popular items sell out. Puts them back in front of shoppers once they return to stock. |
Good placements |
|
Settings | None. |
Data it needs | 10 products and about 30 daily visitors. It also needs at least one restock event to have something to show. |
