The Bestseller Model is a feature that highlights your store’s most purchased products over a specified period. It identifies and displays top-performing items based on sales data, helping you showcase what your customers love the most.
Merchants can configure the Bestseller Model to display products that were bestsellers over a selected timeframe, ranging from last 1 day to last 1 month. Additionally, the model supports collection-based grouping, allowing you to display bestsellers specific to a product collection, ensuring alignment with your store’s categories and themes.
Benefits
Builds Trust with Customers: Showing bestsellers assures customers of a product’s popularity, signaling quality and reliability.
Enhances Discoverability: Highlights products that are performing well, helping them gain even more visibility and sales.
Supports Seasonal and Promotional Goals: By filtering bestsellers within collections, you can align the recommendations with ongoing campaigns, like “Holiday Bestsellers” or “Top Summer Picks.”
How it works?
The model monitors your store’s sales activity to determine which products are selling the most.
Merchants can select a timeframe, such as the last day, week, or month, to display products that were top sellers during that period.
You can configure the model to show bestsellers within specific collections (e.g., "Summer Collection" or "Electronics"), enabling more targeted recommendations.
The model automatically updates the displayed products as sales data changes, ensuring the recommendations remain current and relevant.
Recommended Placements
We recommend placing the Bestseller section on the Home page and Cart page.
Limitations
The Bestseller Model relies heavily on sales data to identify top-performing products. For stores with low sales volume or new stores with limited traffic, there may not be enough data to accurately identify bestsellers.
